Whether you choose to travel for a month, a year, or forever, there are some hints and tips that will help you avoid reinventing the wheel.
Coconut Compass is aimed towards helping people, no matter what age, who want to take a career break, gap year, kickstart their projects or just want to see what is out there in this great big world of ours.
Why We Created This Blog
We are focused on what it takes to stop doing what you have always done and get out the door to see the world. You will probably never see any tips here on how to get past the doorman in an Ibiza club. We will however offer tips on saving for your goals, what you might sacrifice or gain along the way, fitness while you travel, gear reviews, and some of the highlights of our trip that we think you might like.
Let Us Know What You Like
We hope you like what you see. We would love to hear from you if you have questions, helpful advice for travelers, or if you would like us to post about anything that you may be interested in from finding the right flights, using home stay sites such as AirBnb or even questions on our budget or any tips you might like to see.
The main point is that if we could do it, you can do it too. We hope to see you again soon and really hope we are able to inspire you to take the first step towards a career break and travel.
Cheers and happy travels,
Eeva and Steve
